How is a sports team charter planned?

We start from the fixture list or event programme. Departure times are set around training, travel to the venue and recovery after a match, and return flights can be planned for the same night or the following day. Multi-leg itineraries of up to five legs suit away trips, pre-season tours and short tournament runs.

After you send the details, we reply within 30 minutes and check availability with operators. The quote arrives by email after operator confirmation, and once you approve it we confirm with the operator and stay in touch with the team manager until departure. Every trip is arranged as a private jet charter with licensed, AOC-holding and insured operators.

Which aircraft suit squads, staff and kit?

Headcount and equipment decide the aircraft. Individual athletes and small coaching teams often travel on a light or midsize jet. A heavy jet seats ten to fifteen with the cabin and hold space for longer trips, while full squads with staff and kit usually need a VIP airliner option, which we can source. Smaller parties may also suit our group charter options.

Kit needs space of its own. Kit bags, medical cases, bicycles, golf bags and rackets all count against the hold, so we check the aircraft against your luggage list before quoting. A complete request includes:

Can you arrange event charter flights for guests?

Yes. Event charter flights carry guests, sponsors or crew to tournaments, award evenings, concerts and conferences. Arrivals can be grouped so that everyone lands before the programme starts, and returns can be split when guests leave at different times. Guests flying from more than one city can be collected on a multi-leg routing or on separate aircraft, depending on numbers and timings.

What affects the price of a team or event charter?

The aircraft class has the largest effect, followed by flight time, positioning, airport fees, waiting time between legs and the season. Busy event weekends reduce availability, which makes the timing of the request matter. Every quote is free and non-binding, so you can compare options before committing a budget.
