Can I book a same-day private jet?

Often, yes, but it depends on what is available at that moment. A same-day private jet needs an aircraft in the right area, a crew within its duty limits, airport slots and, for some countries, landing or overflight permits. We check these points in parallel and tell you plainly what is possible.

We never promise a specific departure time before the operator has confirmed it. What we can promise is a reply within 30 minutes and a clear picture of the options, so you can decide quickly whether to fly, wait or change plans. What happens after I send a last-minute request?

Sourcing begins immediately. Aircraft already near your departure airport are usually the most practical, since positioning from further away adds time and cost. The quote, with aircraft and pricing, arrives by email after operator confirmation, and you approve it by replying.

Once approved, we confirm the booking with the operator and stay in touch until departure, passing on any change in arrival time or passenger names. The steps are the same as for any private jet charter, only compressed into hours rather than days. To move quickly, it helps to have the following ready:

• Departure and arrival cities
• Earliest and latest acceptable departure time
• Number of passengers and luggage
• Passenger nationalities for international flights

How can I improve the chances of finding an aircraft?

Flexibility helps more than anything else. Being open to a nearby airport, a slightly later departure or a different aircraft class widens the options. A light jet may not be free on the day, while a midsize jet a short distance away could be.

Are last-minute flights more expensive?

The same factors apply whether you book weeks ahead or on the day: aircraft class, flight time, positioning, airport fees, waiting time and season. At short notice, the main effect is a smaller choice of aircraft, which can mean flying a larger jet than strictly needed or covering a longer positioning flight.
