How is a corporate jet charter planned?

Planning starts with the meeting, not the aircraft. Tell us where you need to be and when, and we work backwards to a departure time that leaves room for ground transport and security. Requests can be one-way, return or multi-leg with up to five legs, which covers most roadshow and site-visit schedules.

Once we have the details, we reply within 30 minutes and check availability with operators. The quote, with suitable aircraft and pricing, arrives by email after the operator has confirmed it. On approval we confirm the booking and stay in touch with your assistant or travel desk until departure. Which aircraft class fits a business trip?

Most corporate trips come down to three things: the number of passengers, the distance and the amount of luggage or equipment. A light jet seats six to eight and suits short sectors such as Istanbul to Athens or Vienna. A midsize jet reaches most European capitals, the Gulf and North Africa, while a super midsize adds range and cabin space for longer days.

Teams of ten or more, or executives who want to work and rest on board, usually look at a heavy jet, and larger delegations can use our group charter options. For non-stop flights to the Americas or the Far East, an ultra long range aircraft is the realistic choice. Can we fly out and back on the same day?

Yes, same-day return programmes are among the most common corporate requests. The aircraft and crew wait while you attend your meetings, and the return departure is timed to your schedule. Waiting time and crew duty limits are part of the planning, so we check both before the quote is final.

For roadshows covering several cities in a row, we sequence the legs so that each departure fits the next meeting. If the schedule changes on the day, call or message us and we will ask what the operator can accommodate. What drives the price of a corporate charter?

The main factors are the aircraft class, the flight time and any positioning needed to bring the aircraft to your departure airport. Airport fees, waiting time on the ground and the season also play a part, so a same-day return with a long wait is priced differently from two separate one-way flights.
